Larrie J. Miller

Larrie J. Miller, age 61, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

 

He was born on June 1, 1960, the son of Robert Skinner Miller Sr. and Stella Mae (Hicks) Miller in McGehee, Arkansas.

 

Larrie married Jenny Wilson on August 20, 2016, in Liberal, Kansas. 

 

Larrie was a man of many trades including general contracting and handy man work. He was always quick to lend a hand to the elderly and shut ins with mowing and doing errands.

 

 Family was a priority to Larrie and it was important to him to spend time with them in person or by phone.

 

Larrie’s friends and family will remember him reading his bible and praying with them. 

 

Survived by his wife, Jenny Miller of Liberal, Kansas,

Two daughters, Starr Jones Miller of Salt Lake City, Utah, and

Lakesha Stephenson of Victorville, California,

Six sons, Bryson Miller (Larissa) of Wichita, Kansas,

Tyson Miller of Liberal, Kansas,

Deston Miller (Misha) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma,

Cortney Miller (Jessica)  of Clarkston, Georgia

Alex Damani Miller of Riverside, California, and

Imani Max C. Miller of Riverside, California,

Sisters, Louise Gaines-Williams (David) of Homestead, Florida,

Rita Mae Shelton of Atlanta, Georgia,

Shelia Diane Lucas and Wanda Lucas, both of Salt Lake City, Utah,

Brothers, Bobby Miller (Ann),

Virgil Lucas,

Mickey Miller,

James Miller (Annette),

Robert Miller, and

Allen Hicks, all of Salt Lake City, Utah, also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

By his mother, Stella Mae Hicks, sister, Travistine Owens, father, Robert Miller, and daughter Tykesha Miller

 

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas. The family will be present from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM to receive friends.

 

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Bible Way COGIC, 410 E. 8th Street, Liberal, Kansas. 

 

Graveside Service to follow at the Liberal Cemetery.
