Juan Pablo Marquez, 40, of Liberal, passed away on August 31, 2017 at his home near Liberal, KS.
He was born on September 17, 1976 to Guadalupe Marquez and Belem Jacobo at Chihuahua, Mexico.
On May 16, 1998 he married Veronica Camacho in Liberal, KS. She survives.
Pablo grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico moving to Liberal, Kansas when he was 16. Pablo had worked as a Technician for Foss Ford. He enjoyed watching and participating in Boxing, where he was a Golden Glove Champion in 1997. He also enjoyed singing, drawing, carpentry, his horses and spending time with his kids.
He is also survived by: Two Sons, Pablo Marquez, Jr. and Ariel Dominguez of Liberal, KS; Three Daughters, Daisy Marquez, Dahlia Marquez, Nicole Marquez all of Liberal, KS; Two Sisters, Claudia Lujan and husband Genaro of Liberal, KS, Marisela Marquez and husband Reydecel Dominguez of Liberal, KS; Five Brothers, Jose Guadalupe Marquez and wife Maria Salinas of Liberal, KS, Alberto Marquez and wife Mayra of Garden City, KS, Miguel Fernando Marquez and wife Yanitza of Liberal, KS, Fransisco Marquez and wife Anabel Pacheco of Chihuahua, Mexico; and Oswaldo Marquez and wife Irasema of Chihuahua, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Janny Marquez.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.
Rosary Service will be at 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Fr. James P Dieker, officiating.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
