Juan Antonio Quezada Ramos, a beloved son, brother and friend, died on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Altus, Oklahoma, at the age of 35.

Juan was born on May 21, 1990, in Juarez, Chihuahua, to Rubel and Maria Mayela Romero.

He obtained his GED and began working for Braum’s and unloading products for Walmart. He then went on to start his career at National Beef. Juan was known for his skills as a supervisor, contributing to Cotton Warehouse locations in Liberal and Clearwater, Kansas, as well as Altus, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his parents, Rubel and Maria Romero in Liberal,

Two brothers, Rubel Romero Jr. and

Carlos Romero, both of Liberal.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Reverend Charles Seiwert will be celebrating.

A burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
