John William “Johnnie” Byrum

John William “Johnnie” Byrum 82, died, Tuesday January 7, 2014 at his 
residence.

He was born October 8, 1931 in Russellville, Arkansas the son of Clyde 
and Stella (Vick) Byrum.
He has been a longtime Liberal resident working for Chrysler Corner for 
30 years as a mechanic retiring in 1993.

He enjoyed Sprint Cup racing, Bee Jay Baseball, Lady Saints and Saints 
Basketball. He loved spending time with his friends at morning coffee at 
South McDonalds.

He attended Faith Tabernacle

On February 19, 1953 he married Marie Morris at Perryton, Texas. She 
survives.

4 Sisters Hazel Bruner Anchorage, Alaska
Martha Lou South Claremore, Oklahoma
Peggy Williams Mountain View, Oklahoma
Glenda Boren Fredrick, Oklahoma

He is preceded in death by 6 brothers.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at the Faith 
Tabernacle with Pastor Rex Petty presiding. Private family inurnment 
will take place at Restlawn Cemetery.
