John Adam Graves , age 47, died Monday, May 23, 2011at his residence in Liberal, KS.
He was born Dec. 10, 1963 in Wichita, KS , the son of Donald Leroy and Helen Jo (Loyton) Graves.
He has been a longtime Liberal resident and attended Liberal Schools.
He had worked at Best Western, Seward County Road & Bridge and currently as a truck driver for Seward County Landfill.
He enjoyed racing with his family, being both a driver and crew member.
He is survived by
2 Sons: Travis Graves and wife Jessica Liberal, KS
Tony Graves Liberal, KS
1 Daughter: Tabitha Graves Liberal, KS
Mother: Helen Graves Liberal, KS
2 Brothers: Jim Graves and wife Fran Liberal, KS
Randolf Graves and wife Anavel Liberal, KS
He was anticipating the birth of his first grandchild in 4 months.
2 Nephews: Jeremy Graves and Alejandro Graves
1 Niece: Katie Graves
1Great-Niece: Jayden Graves
Preceded in death by Father-Don Graves, Infant Daughter-Amanda Beth Graves, Brother-David Lynn Graves, Grandparents- D.L. and Gladys Graves and Lucille Vining.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am Thursday May 26th at Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Petty presiding. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
Visitation time will be 9 am to 8 pm Wednesday at Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present to receive friends from 7- 8 pm at the funeral home.
