Joe Curley Foster, 63, of Liberal, KS passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his home.
He was born on July 8, 1962 to Sarah Mann and adopted by Joe A. Foster, Sr. and Ruby Foster of Birmingham, AL.
On May 23, 2007 he married Mary Hendricks in Nashville, Tennessee.
Joe had an unwavering love for God and always gave sound, honest, and bible-based advice. Joe loved all things transportation and could drive anything with wheels. Over the years he owned his own Hot Shot Transportation and Bus Tourism companies. For a time he even drove a bull wagon (semi full of cattle), because it was a challenge. Joe loved trucks, tractors, motorcycles, and boats. He was an avid fisherman and always respected the environment.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Mary, Daughters, Amanda A. Foster, Jasmine Foster and Mariah Foster; Son, Amon Foster; Birth Mother, Sarah Mann; Sisters, Rosalind Campbell, Lynn Kent, Connie Walls, and Velma Spicer; Brothers, Roderick Mann and Ronnie Spicer; Grandchildren, Ashtyn Foster, Azaria Foster, and Kason Foster; Special Cousins, Juanita Rollins, Willis Perry and Warren Perry. Joe is also survived by his nieces and nephews and his life-long friends from Wenonah High School.
He was preceded in death by his Mom & Dad, Ruby Foster and Joe A. Foster Sr.; Son Joe Foster III; Grandmother, Velma Stallworth; Sisters, Joanne Underwood and Nona Caldwell; Brother, Alan Mann.
Viewing will be held from 9:00 am until service time on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Miller Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
