Jim Hittle

Loving husband, son, father, grandfather and brother, Jim Hittle, 67, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at his home in Hugoton.  He had been a lifelong resident of Hugoton, where he was a farmer and rancher.

He was born November 20, 1949 in Hugoton, Kansas, to Walter and Velma Hittle.  He graduate from Hugoton High School in 1967. On December 21, 1968, he married Connie Louthan at Hugoton, Kansas.  She survives him and resides in Hugoton.

Jim never knew a stranger and was always willing to help anyone any way he could.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and camping but mostly enjoyed following his children and grandchildren’s activities.  He was a member of the Hugoton Riding Club and Hugoton High School Sports Boosters Club.

Jim is also survived by his son, Chad and his wife Shauna of Tyler, Texas; and his daughter, Keena and her husband, Jeff McIntyre of Piedmont, Oklahoma.  He had four grandsons, who were his pride and joy, Matthew and Tyler Hittle of Tyler, Texas and Kolby and Kaleb McIntyre of Piedmont, Oklahoma.  He is also survived by his mother, Velma Hittle of Hugoton, and brothers, Bill and his wife, Linda; and Bob and his wife Diana, all of Hugoton; and Steve and his wife Cindy of Rolla, and his sister-in-law, Lana Louthan of Henderson, Nevada, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

He preceded in death by his father, Walter Hittle.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Hugoton United Methodist Church at 2PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial has been established for Hugoton FFA Chapter.  Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home-PO Box 236-Hugoton, KS 67951.

Friends may call Tuesday 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home.
