Jerry L. Sloan

Jerry L. Sloan, 64, Liberal, KS; died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at
Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.

He was born February 18, 1948 at Liberal, KS, the son of
James & Alice M. Robinson Sloan.

Jerry attended Liberal schools and graduated Liberal High
School in 1966. He was a lifelong cook, working in Denver, CO for many years, and for the past three years at Liberal Inn, Liberal.

He was a member of the New Community Missionary Baptist
Church, Liberal, KS.

He is survived by one son, Jason Sloan and wife Diane, Denver, CO;
three daughters, Earlene Stamps, Santa Barbara, CA;
Stacy Ross and husband Bobby, Liberal, KS; Jackie Burns, Ft. Collins,
CO; his mother Alice Sloan, Liberal, KS; and eight grandchildren;
significant other Jessie Taylor, Liberal, KS.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday at the
New Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Steve Bailey.

Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Thursday.
