Janet L. Gordon

Janet L. Gordon, 74, of Liberal, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at her home.

She was born on December 5, 1948 to Vernon and Evelyn (Thomas) Nordick at Eads, CO.

On December 29, 1978 she married David Gordon at the Liberal, KS.

She was a graduate of Beaver High School in Beaver, OK; class of 1966. Janet enjoyed reading, building costumes, crafts, camping at the lake, and fishing. She loved spending time with her grand babies. She was a member of 4-H, and assisted with the Five State Fair when her husband was on the board. She and her husband are members of the Faith Tabernacle in Liberal.

Janet is survived by her loving husband David, Two Daughters, Danja Gordon of Liberal, KS, Eva L Kerns of Tyrone, OK; Son, Wade Gordon of FL; Daughter In Law, Stacy Foss of Osakis, MN; Two Granddaughters, Alyx Garza, Haili Gordon; Eight Grandsons, Tony McCain, Jr., Chance Kerns, Quentyn Kerns, Jade Rice, Cody Roos, Tyler Roos, Brady Roos, Connor Tangeman; Three Sisters, Paula Embree of Buffalo, OK, Debbie Fields of Woodward, OK, Teresa Holcomb of Waco, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother, Lillian Thomas Hickman

There will be no public viewing as cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 27, 2023 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Rex Petty, officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests Memorials to the Liberal Humane Society or the American Cancer Society in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
