Janet D. Wares

Janet D. Wares, 67, died Monday, November 16, 2020 at her residence in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on March 18, 1953 in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Edward ‘EC’ and Gladys Schmitt.

She graduated from Liberal High School in 1971. She latter obtained her Associates Degree.

In 1971 she married Joseph Daniel Dennis in Liberal, Kansas. They later divorced.

Janet worked for many years as Warranty Claims Representative for Stu Emmert in Liberal, where she retired from.

Sophia Marin, Kylie Dennis, Damian Dennis, Alex Dennis, Presley Dennis, Fiona Dennis and Ophelia Dennis.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Terry and Larry Schmitt; and sister Betty I. Schmitt.

Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2020 from 1pm to 7pm at the Hornung Family Funeral Home.

Family will be present to greet friends from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral Services will be at 10am Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rex Petty presiding. Burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
