Ismael Zuniga – Garcia , 51, of Liberal, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at Wesley Medical Center , in Wichita .
He was born November 12, 1961, at South Saucillo , Chih . , Mexico to Ismael Zuniga and Elena Garcia – Zuniga.
He was self-employed in food service, and known around Liberal as “ Burrito Man. ”
He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
He married Julia Patricia Gonzalez – Cabrales on April 5, 1982. She survives.

Ismael Zuniga, Jr., and wife Mirella , of NM
4 sisters: Teresa Torrez and husband Ralph, of Liberal
Lupe Jimenez and husband Armando, of Garden City
Isabel Zuniga, of NM
Miría de Los Angeles Garcia
4 grandchildren: Monique Rene Zuniga; Edgar Rene Zuniga Jr.; Geraldo Ismael Zuniga; Emiliana de la Cruz
He was preceded in death by his father, and 2 sisters, Carmen Garcia, and Rosaura Garcia
Visitation will be 1 -8:00 p.m., Thursday and 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Friday, at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel, Liberal.
Rosary and Vigil will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, in Liberal.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 5, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Fr. Hector de la Vega, officiating. Cremation will follow the service and burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ismael Zuniga Memorial Fund, and sent in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd St. , Liberal , KS 67901
