Granville Ray Crow

Granville Ray Crow, 77, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Liberal Good Samaritan Center.

He was born on March 2, 1945 to Robert Moreland and Lillie Pearl (Robison) Crow at Golden, OK.

On December 3, 1967 he married Murl Hall at the Mountain View Baptist Church of Elmwood, OK. To this union
two children were born, Sandra Rae and Kevin Lynn.

He attended school at Knowles, OK and was a graduate of Knowles High School; class of 1963. Granville went into the US Army in 1965 where he was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He returned home in May 1967. He worked as an Operator Engineer before retiring in 1988. Granville enjoyed hunting, fishing, sharing stories, and telling jokes.

Granville is survived by his loving wife Murl, Daughter, Sandra Rae Ackley and husband Jay of Guymon, OK; Son, Kevin Lynn Crow and wife Brook of Choctaw, OK; Sister, Barbara Dixon of Forgan, OK; Grandchildren- Cylie and husband Clay, Courtney and husband Quinton, Chance and Amber, Ashton and wife Carlie, Dawson and wife Jazmin, Austin and Bailey. Great Grandchildren – Madison, Jinson, Ava, Noah, Branch, Cooper, Wyatt, Olivia, Lillie Pearl, and Baby Crow due in April; a host of Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Robert Moreland Crow, Mother, Lillie Pearl Crow, Infant Granddaughter, Madison Love Crow, two Sisters, Bobbie Jean Denham and Alice Faye Lake, Brother, Jerry Lynn Crow.

Per Granville’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life may be held at a later date.

Miller Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
