Gilbert George (Gib) Wolf, 86, of Liberal, passed away on Thursday August 6, 2020 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS
He was born on January 6, 1934 to Henry and Elizabeth (Wohl) Wolf at Bessie, OK.
On April 19, 1956 he married Omega Black at Clayton, NM; she preceded him in death on March 25, 2014.
In 1971 Gib went to work for National Beef Packing Co, from which he retired as a Supervisor in 1991.
He enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, woodworking, his birds and his grandchildren. He and his wife were members of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.
Gib is survived by two daughters- Brenda Cherie Rash, La Dena Darlene Perez, one son – Darryl Wade Wolf and son in law- Mac Perez all of Liberal, KS. four grandchildren- Angelica and husband Michael, Cassie and husband Christopher, Sandi and husband Brad, and Zachary. 12 great grandchildren- Sean, Mekenzie, Haley, Isabel, Kylie, Rylee, Emma, Kate, Isaac, Joshua, Jacob, and Jessica.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, three brothers- Robert, Ed, and Henry Jr.; two sisters- Rose and Emma Jane; two infant sisters- Margie and Elizabeth.
Viewing will be 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday August 10, 2020, with the family present to receive friends from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Mortuary.
Graveside Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday August 11, 2020, at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Gary Stafford officiating.
