Geraldean “Jeri” (Dollar) Reeder

Geraldean “Jeri” (Dollar) Reeder, 86, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, in Hugoton, Kansas. She was the daughter of Tommy C. and Jessie L. (Groomer) Dollar, she was born on April 14, 1937 in Mannsville, Oklahoma.

Geraldean Dollar and David Wayne Reeder were married on April 24, 1956, Stinnett, Texas. To this union were three children; Belinda, Joy, and Deborah.

She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. As her girls were growing up, they enjoyed many trips to Oklahoma to be with family. Outside of traveling with the girls they also enjoyed fishing together as a family. She was a loving mother and a great caretaker to her family.

Jeri enjoyed anything to do with her yard; she loved being outdoors working in her flower beds and gardening. She loves animals and loved her pet cow named “Babe”. Jeri worked at the Hugoton Elementary School lunchroom and her favorite part of her job was working with the children.

Survivors include three loving daughters, Belinda “Binki” Medina and husband Jesse,

Joy Lewis and husband Russell, Deborah “Debi” Peterson, all of Hugoton, KS.; one sister,

Barbara Scribner, Ardmore, OK.; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Reeder, Wichita, KS., Jathan

Medina and wife Robyn, Woodward, OK., Jarod Medina and wife Tasha, Hugoton, KS., Eriel

Lewis and companion Brian Onofre, Hugoton, KS., Keshia Sena and husband Ray, Hugoton,

KS., Damian Lewis, Hugoton, KS., Heath Peterson and wife Carrie, Lawrence, KS., and Brigan Peterson and companion Macy Barker, Canyon, TX.; twenty-three great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Jessie Dollar; husband, David Wayne Reeder; brother, Tommy Lee Dollar; sister, Elewease Walker; grandson, Jurrell Medina; great-granddaughter, Hope Regensberg.

A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6 p.m. to 8

p.m. at Robson Funeral Home, 314 S. Van Buren, Hugoton, Kansas.

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Assembly of God in Hugoton, Kansas with Pastor Richard Martin and Pastor Tim Singer presiding. Burial will to follow at Hugoton Cemetery.
