Freda Taylor, 91, of Liberal, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at her home.
She was born on January 27, 1931 to Merle and Dorothy (Dudley) Cole at Liberal, KS.
On June 28, 1951 she married Robert Lee Taylor at Raton, NM.; he preceded her in death in 1981.
She enjoyed building plastic models, sewing, camping and fishing. Freda also enjoyed long walks on the Beach in Florida during sun up and sunset. She loved being with her children and grandchildren.
Freda is survived by Son, Ricky Lee Taylor and wife Debora of Theodore, AL; Daughter, Deanna Turpin and husband Jim of Sarasota, FL; four Grandkids, Chris Turpin, Nikki Noble and husband Terry, Scott Taylor and wife Amber, Heather Crotinger and Husband Chris; eight Great Grandchildren, Kailani Turpin, Evan Turpin, Braden Noble, Bethaney Noble, Baylee Noble, Violet Taylor, Stephenee Crotinger, and Layla Crotinger.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Teresa Harvey, two brothers, Ray Cole and Merle Cole; one sister, Doris Nicholson.
There will be no public viewing.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank you” to Freda’s caregivers who have extended their love, kindness, and compassion.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, 2:00 pm at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Liberal, KS.
