Elvira García Lazcano, 77 years old, of Liberal, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 in Kansas City, Kansas.

She was born on February 4, 1948 to Fransisco Garcia and Ramona Lazcano Villareal at Guanaceví, Durango.

Elvira was a loving and caring person, she loved cooking for her family and taking care of everyone. She was a glamorous and extravagant lady who loved shopping and traveling. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting and traveling to visit family in Mexico.

Elvira is survived by her loving spouse Cesar, Three Daughters, Rosa Martinez Trasviña of Liberal, KS, Lorena Trasviña of Chihuaha Chih, Liliana Trasviña of Chihuaha, Chih; Two Sons, Fransisco Javier Trasviña of Hastings, NE, Ernesto Trasviña of La Paz; Grandson, Erick Trasviña; Three Granddaughters, Michelle Trasviña, Yaneth Trasviña, Yessica Trasviña; Brother, Aurelio Garcia Lazcano of Juarez, Chih.; Four Sisters, Sofia Garcia Lazcano of Chihuaha, Chih., Patricia Garcia Lazcano of Chihuaha, Chih., Maria Luisa Garcia Lazcano of Chihuaha, Chih, Amalia Garcia Lazcano of NM.

She was preceded in death by Father, Fransisco Garcia, Mother, Ramona Lazcano Villareal.

Graveside Service will take place at 10:30 am on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, Kansas.
