Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Cobb

Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Cobb, 57, of Liberal, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her home.

She was born on August 9, 1964 to Micheal and Elsie (Stegman) Naab in Meade, KS.

On May 12, 1988 she married Jamey Cobb in Liberal, KS; he preceded her in death on September 20, 2021.

Betty was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1983. She went on to obtain her Associates in Nursing from the Seward County Community College Nursing Program. Betty was a career Nurse and had been previously working at the Satanta District Hospital. She enjoyed putting together 500-750 piece Thomas Kincaid puzzles, sewing, embroidery, fishing & camping, loved animals but most of all, spending time with her children and grandsons.

Betty is survived by her Son, Trenten James Cobb and significant other Tiffany Bowen of Liberal, KS; Daughter, Kaleigh Danielle Chapman and husband Roy of Hinesville, GA; Two Grandsons, Tidus Jay Cobb, Theo Henry Cobb; Three Sisters, Susan Naab (Miguel) of Liberal, KS, Fran Graves (Jim) of Liberal, KS, JoAnne Marie Pearce of Pocatello, ID; Two Brothers, Mike Naab of Liberal, KS, Tony J. Naab (Peggy) of Lafayette, LA; numerous Nieces & Nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and Sister, Doris Ann Naab.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, 10:00 am at the First Christian Church, with Brother Andrew Linder & Pastor Rex Petty, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Plains Cemetery in Plains, KS.
