Elijio Baltazar Beltran, 22, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS.

He was born on October 1, 2003 to Juan Beltran and Rianna Hernandez at Wichita, KS.

On February 5, 2026 he married Denise Flores in Liberal, KS.

Elijio’s early years were marked by a passion for soccer, a sport he enjoyed playing throughout his school days. His love for physical activity extended beyond sports; he enjoyed working out at Southwest Fitness and camping at Meade County Lake and Coldwater Lake, reflecting his vibrant and energetic spirit.A young man who appreciated life’s simple pleasures, Elijio had a particular fondness for seafood and often expressed joy about opening his own stand. In addition, he found comfort and guidance in reading the Bible, an interest that spoke to his reflective nature and deep sense of faith.

Elijio is survived by his loving wife Denise; three daughters, Sofia, Elisia, and Adilene; son, Elijio Jr., who is due next month; Parents, Rianna Rendon and Gumesiado of Liberal, KS; sister, Bridgette Rendon of Liberal, KS; two brothers, Alejandro Rendon and Nathan Hernandez of Liberal, KS; and grandparents Jose Hernandez, and Mary Hernandez of Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Juan Beltran.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Camino De Santidad Church located at 831 S New York Ave. Liberal, KS.

Burial will follow at Liberal City Cemetery.
