Edna Phillips 89, died Saturday, February 25, 2011 at Ware Living Center in
Amarillo, TX.

She was born May 14, 1922 at House, New Mexico the daughter of Charles &
Bertha (Thomas) Kemper.

She graduated from Liberal High School in 1940 as the Valedictorian. She was a
long time Liberal resident moving to Amarillo, TX three years ago.

She was employed at Briers Jewelry for 13 years, Fabric Shop for 13 years and
retired at age 75 from Peoples Bank now Community Bank.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and was a member of the Mother
Singers.

On May 18, 1941 she married Clifford Charles Phillips in Hooker, OK. He died July 15,
1974.

Survivors include.

1 Daughter Carolyn Patton and husband Bob Amarillo. TX

1 Brother Eddie Kemper Dallas, TX

2 Sister Eualina Joy Houston, TX
Eula Lock Terrell, TX
2 Sister-in-Laws Joye Phillips Walters and Husband Al Amarillo, Tx
Imogene Phillips Pflugerville, TX
6 Grandchildren Jeri Lynn Moore, Brain T Phillips, Robby L. Phillips, Chad
Patton & wife Robin, Derek Patton &wife Belem and Christy Eiguren &husband Chaz.

12 Great Grandchildren Amber Phillips Boyle, Samantha Prince, Lacy Phillips,
Melanie Moore, Jacob Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Caleb Eiguren, Chloe Eiguren,
Caylie Eiguren, Alexander Patton, Anali Patton and Izak Patton

Also survived by former Daughter-In-Law Linda Phillips of Perryville, Ark.

Preceded in death by Parents, two sons Clifford Ronald and Jerry Ray, two
brothers Everett and Charles Kemper, one sister Eunice Caldwell and Great
Grandson J.T. Phillips.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday at Brenneman Funeral Home
Chapel with Pastor Loren Robinson presiding. Cremation will follow.

Visitation time will be 5 to 8pm with family to greet friends from 6-7pm Monday
and 9am until service time Tuesday at Brenneman Funeral Home

Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
