Sublette – Dylan Shane Berg, 23, died August 14, 2022 in Seminole, Texas due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on August 13, 1999 at Mesquite, Texas, the son of Johnny and Mary (Sawatzky) Berg.

Dylan’s early childhood was spent in Seminole, Texas. In 2001, the family moved to Sublette. Dylan was a 2017 graduate of Sublette High School where he participated in baseball, basketball, football, and scholar’s bowl. He had recently moved back to Seminole where he was working for his uncle as the sales manager for Southern Trailer Sales. Dylan enjoyed playing softball and watching sports.

Dylan is survived by his mother, Mary of Sublette; four siblings, Savanna of Lubbock, Texas, Megan, Zylah, and Colten all of Sublette; grandparents, Elena Berg of Sublette and Heinrich and Maria Sawatzky of Seminole, Texas; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny and grandfather, Wilhelm Berg.

Funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Church, Garden City on Saturday August 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Raul Silva presiding. A private family burial will be at Haskell County Cemetery. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette on Friday August 19, 2022 from noon to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home.
