Doug Baldridge

Doug Baldridge, (Mr. B.), 62 of Tyrone, Oklahoma passed away June 21, 2019 at his home.

Doug was born February 20, 1957 at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Mary Childers Baldridge. The family moved to numerous air force bases in Doug’s early years and then he attended school in Liberal, Kansas. Doug graduated High School in St. Louis, Missouri.

He worked in the oil field in the Woodward, Oklahoma area and met Diane Taylor. They were united in marriage March 20, 1984 in Woodward. Their first home was in Woodward and in 1986 they moved to Tyrone. Doug worked at numerous jobs in the area and in 2004 he was head of maintenance and taught shop at Tyrone School until his illness. He has also worked as security at Southwest Medical Center since 2016.

Doug enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, woodworking, working on his truck and helping friends. He also loved spending time with his family and enjoyed any western that might be on.

Preceded in death by his father, Ralph and his sister, Tonya.

Survivors include his wife, Diane of the home; his mother, Mary Baldridge of Elk City, Oklahoma; three sons, Jory and Angel of Tyrone, Just and Carly of Boston, MA, Jase of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jaima and Martin Arguello of Tyrone; three sisters, Paula Ray of Elk City, Ok, Traci and Russ Benhardt of St. Louis, Missouri, Robyn and Mike Presley of St. Louis, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Alize, Addison, Kieran, Kaelin, Ryen, Reagan, Rennan and Brody.

A celebration of life will be held at the Tyrone School cafeteria in Tyrone, Oklahoma on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 4 to 6 p.m.
