Donna L. Foster, age 85, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Kansas Medical Center, Andover, Kansas.
She was born January 15, 1933, at Cimarron, Kansas, the daughter of James and Eileen (Perkins) Goodnight. As a young girl she attended Plains Elementary School and later graduated from Plains High School in 1951. A lifetime resident of the Plains area, she was a retired Pharmacy Technician for Southwest Medical Center.
On August 16, 1951, she married Denn Bromwell at Plains, Kansas. He precedes her in death on May 31, 1975. She later married Joe Foster in 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Pat Bromwell of Runaway Bay, Texas, and Brett Bromwell of Pampa, Texas; a daughter, Jan Hicks of Moore, Oklahoma; a half-brother, Mike Perkins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a stepbrother, Norman Perkins of Norman, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband and a brother Douglas Perkins.
Private family services will be held at the Plains Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
The family would welcome memorials to the Lone Tree Retirement Center in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas.
