Dolores Mae (Nix) Haight

Dolores Mae (Nix) Haight, 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Ascension Via Christi, in Wichita, Kansas surrounded by her family.

She was the daughter of Bert and Golda Mae (Logsdon) Nix, she was born on October 10, 1937, in Liberal, Kansas.

She and Ralph Darrell Haight were married on August 5, 1956, Liberal, Kansas. To this union were five children, Mike, Doug, Phil, Todd and Lori. Ralph preceded her in death.

Dolores was a member of Rolla United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, traveling, cross stitch, and watching old western movies. She could grow anything. She liked to travel to Wichita to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include five sons, Mike Haight and wife Cindy, Wichita, KS., Doug Haight, Halstead, KS., Phil Haight and wife Vinna, Wichita, KS., Todd Haight and wife Toni Derby, KS.; daughter Lori Baird, Wichita, KS and 16 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Donald Nix, Gerald Nix and Carl Nix.

A memorial has been established for Rolla United Methodist Church, in care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, 314 S. Van Buren, Hugoton, KS.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 2 P.M. at Rolla United Methodist Church in Rolla, Kansas with Pastor Ron Williams. Burial will follow at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton.

Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is overseeing the arrangements.
