Diane E. Holmes, 76, died on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS.
She was the daughter of Rudolph and Anna Belle “Sue” (Hewitt) Morlock. She was born on September 13, 1941 in Bismark, ND.
On April 3, 992, she married Thurman Holmes in Johnson, KS.
Diane was a Register Nurse and worked for the care home.
She loved and enjoyed her family. She like to go family reunions and enjoyed visiting with everyone.
She loved Kansas City Chief’s Football team and Wichita Shockers Basketball Team.
Survivors include a son, Marlin Hogie and wife Billie, Ulysses, KS.; three daughters, Karla Shores and husband Steve, Rolla, KS., Krista Everett, Ulysses, KS., RaeLynn Birney and husband Buck, Wichita, KS.; five brothers, Gary Morlock, Bismark, ND., Keith Morlock, Lisbon, ND., Ronnie Morlock, Minnesota, Bradley Morlock, Lewiston, ID., Monte Morlock, Rock Springs, WY., Tammy Neal, Oroville, CA., 22 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thurman, son, Douglas Hogie, grandson, Karlton Waechter and brother Roger Morlock.
A memorial has been established to Grant County EMS. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Ulysses, KS. 67880.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses, KS and burial at Ulysses Cemetery with John Duran presiding.
