Danny Edward McDaniel

Danny Edward McDaniel, age 71, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Ft. Dodge Soldier’s Home in Ft. Dodge, Kansas.

He was born on October 7, 1950, the son of Leo McDaniel and Arlene (Carlson) McDaniel in Woodward, Oklahoma.

Danny was in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He drove a truck for Navajo Trucking for many years and raised three daughters, Amber, Christina, and Cara. Danny will be fondly remembered by family and friends.

Survived by

His three daughters, Amber McDaniel and her fiancé, Tobias of Englewood, Kansas

Christina Serna and her husband, Jason Long of Liberal, Kansas and

Cara McDaniel of West Palm Beach, Florida

His brother, Leo Wayne McDaniel of Yukon, Oklahoma

Two sisters, Nancy Taylor of Wichita, Kansas and Shirley Milborn of Sydney, Ohio

Eight grandchildren, Lynn Flores, Marcus Jamison, Julie Long, Cody Long, Cass Reid, Kenneth Reid, Abby Reid, and Hunter McDaniel and

Two great-grandchildren, Amador Flores, and Isabel Flores.

Preceded in death by both his parents, Leo, and Arlene McDaniel and two grandchildren, Skylar Reid, and Andrew McDaniel.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Monday, November 8, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
