Dale Lowell Martin, a loving and caring individual, passed away on December 10, 2023, in Lakin, Kansas. He was born on January 24, 1933, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Dale was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence would be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dale had a compassionate soul and always prioritized the well-being of his loved ones. He was known for his gentle nature and kind heart. His friends and family appreciated his unwavering support and acts of kindness that touched their lives.

In his free time, Dale found solace in reading and listening to books. He also had an interest in computers and enjoyed exploring their capabilities. These hobbies allowed him to expand his knowledge and keep his mind active.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and seven brothers. The loss of his son Terry Leroy Martin left a deep void within his heart. Additionally, he mourned the passing of his son-in-law Johnny Brown, grandson Brandon Brown, and great-grandson Christopher Coy Brown. Dale’s loving family will forever cherish their memories.

Surviving Dale is his beloved wife Neva Martin of Ulysses, KS. Their bond of love has endured throughout the years and served as an inspiration for those around them. Together they experienced life’s joys and challenges with unwavering commitment.

Dale leaves behind cherished memories with his son Alan Martin and wife Debbie from Las Vegas, NV., as well as his daughters Deborah Brown from Freedom, OK., and Jessica Babcoka and husband Trent from Cartersville, GA. His love and guidance will forever remain in the hearts of his six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

As we gather to remember Dale Lowell Martin, let us celebrate his life and the significant impact he had on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will continue to shine through the memories and lessons he shared with his family and friends.

In this time of mourning, let us come together as a community to support one another and cherish the memories we hold dear. Dale’s legacy will endure through the love he spread and the lives he touched. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Memorials have been established for Country View Baptist Church, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, 218 S. Main Street, Ulysses, Kansas 67880.

Book signing will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses, Kansas.

A memorial service will celebrate Dale’s life at Country View Baptist Church in Ulysses, Kansas on Thursday, December 28, 2023. The service will begin at 10:30 AM. Following the memorial service, Dale will be laid to rest at Ulysses Cemetery during a burial ceremony.
