Cochise John James Tanner

Cochise John James Tanner of Kismet, KS passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Amarillo, TX.

He was born on June 19, 1975 to Sammy Tanner, Jr. and Bonita Kay Wagenseller in Claremore, OK.

On August 26, 1991 he married Jennifer Pierce.

Cochise had worked as a Feed Truck Driver. He enjoyed fishing, video games, and bird watching.

Cochise is survived by his loving wife Jennifer, Daughter, Mersadez Lee and husband Andrew of Hugo, OK; Granddaughter, ILyana Lee; Two Sons, Trevor Tanner of Kismet, KS, Brendan Tanner of Kismet, KS; Two Grandsons, Ryder and Ryker; Two Brothers, Justin Tanner, Jason Tanner.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother, Jason Hitchcock.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 am on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel in Liberal, KS with Gregg Turpin, officiating.

Inurnment will be 2:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at Lakin Cherokee Cemetery in Ellinwood, KS.
