Clifford A. Taylor

Clifford A. Taylor, 94, of Mt. Carmel , Illinois , formerly of Elkhart , Kansas passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at his residence.

He was born on March 27, 1917 in Clifton , Kansas , the son of Percy T. and Elsie (Cyr) Taylor .

He married Fairy Carder on August 9, 1935 in Hooker, Oklahoma and after her passing, he married Imogene (Wallace) Siefferman on June 11, 1988 in Evansville , Indiana and she survives.

Clifford was a member of Community Church of God, Mt. Carmel , the Men’s Fellowship Club Community Church of God, and the Young at Hearts of Mt. Carmel. He was a cattle and grain rancher.

He is survived by his wife, Imogene; daughters, Elise Grace Milligan of Houston, Texas and Patricia (Pat) O’Brian of Norman, Oklahoma; son, Rev. Larry C. (Bonnie) Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colorado; step-sons, Kenneth (Judith) Siefferman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Larry (Pat) Siefferman of Elberton, Georgia, and Joe (Lynota) Siefferman of Buckeye, Arizona; step-daughter, Patricia Siefferman of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Majory Hoffman of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; first wife, Fairy Taylor; three brothers, Franklyn, Leroy, and Gerald Taylor; three sisters, Edna Annesar, Eva Taylor and Thelma Welch; and daughter, Yvonne Wilson.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 1:30 PM at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart , Kansas . Memorials may be given to the Community Church of God in Mt. Carmel , Illinois in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 854 , Elkhart , KS 67950 .
