Christine Marie (Stoddard) Munson-Suddeth

Christine Marie (Stoddard) Munson-Suddeth, 84, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022, at Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton, Kansas. The daughter of Paul and Julia (Edwards) Stoddard, she was born June 24, 1937, in Hugoton, Kansas.

She married Oscar Monroe “Monty” Munson Jr. on June 3, 1955, in Moscow, Kansas. He later preceded her in death on July 28, 1993.

She and Billy Dee Suddeth were married on May 4, 2003, in Moscow, Kansas. He later preceded her in death on February 21, 2013.

Christine was a member of the Moscow Baptist Church, she had a strong Faith and loved Jesus. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and all things shopping.

Survivors include son, Steve Munson and wife Anita, Moscow, KS.; sister, Opal Hall and husband George, Hugoton, KS.; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Monty and Billy; daughter, Darla Mae Colantonio; siblings, Marvin Regan, Mary Louise Glover, Katherine Sickler, Jackie Stoddard, Elven Stoddard, Kenneth Regan.

A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities, in the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 10 AM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton, Kansas.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, at 2 PM, Moscow Baptist Church in Moscow, Kansas. Burial to follow at Moscow Cemetery with Pastor Patty Lahey presiding.

Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is in charge of arrangements.
