Charles H. Ware

Charles H. Ware, 88, Tyrone, OK, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012,
at Salina Regional Health Center , Salina, KS.

He was born December 16, 1923 at Arnold, NE, the son of
Charles F. & Hattie Blemn.

He attended school at Beaver, OK. Charles was a veteran of
World War II, serving in the U S Army Air Corps and was discharged
as a Staff Sargent. He moved to Liberal in 1948 and was a
carpenter for Ideal Food Stores until retirement. Following retirement
he worked at the Wal Mart Store until recently.

On March 23, 1942, he married Billie J. Potter at Hooker, OK,
she died March 22, 2004.

He is survived by one son, Gary Ware, Mooresville, IN; two daughters, Mickey Tannehill, Rita Protzman and husband
Robert all of Salina, KS; two sisters, June Richards, Laverne, OK;
Mildred Patterson, Grand Junction, CO; eleven grandchildren
and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by
his parents, two sons Fred & Darrell Ware, daughter Sherri Ware, grandson Mark Ware.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday
at Miller Chapel with Rev. Stanley Lehnert presiding.

Interment with Military Honors will be in the Forgan Cemetery,
Forgan, OK.

Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 4-8 P.M. Friday
and 8 A.M. until service time Saturday.
