Carolyn Rose Manske, 81 years old, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at her home in Garden City, Kansas.

She was born to Fredrick Wilheim and Opal Beatrice (Geary) Manske and was born on January 7, 1941, in Yates Center, Kansas.

Carolyn loved and enjoyed her family and friends. Carolyn was very patriotic. Her hobbies were puzzles, crocheting, and yard work.

She was a member of the Bible Christian Church. She enjoyed studying the Bible and praying.

Carolyn cooked for Wheatland’s Cooperation for many years.

She is survived by six daughters, Beatrice Ledesma and husband Jesse, Hutchinson, KS., Sheila Cox and husband James, Topeka, KS., Connie Huber and husband Randy, Garden City, KS., Tanya Graham and husband Randy, Garden City, KS., Lisa Juel and companion Steven Renick, Garden City, KS., Kari Halsch and husband Doug, Houston, TX.; a son, Robert Betts, Hutchison, KS.; brother, Geary Lynn Manske and wife Lynn, Belle Vista, AR.; twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Mark Todd Goodwin and Lelyn Paul Betts; three brothers, Freddy, Norman, and Robert Manske; two sisters, Jane Lovell and Virgie Manske.

A memorial has been established for the St. Catherine’s Development Foundation. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, 620 N. Main Street, Garden City, Kansas 67846.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. at the Robson Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M.to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21,2022, at 10 A.M. at Bible Christian Church, Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Chad Ulrich presiding. Burial at Liberal Cemetery at later date.

Robson Funeral Home, Garden City is overseeing the arrangements.
