Bruce Anderson

Bruce Anderson, 68, of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away August 24, 2021, at his home.

Bruce was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on November 12, 1952, the son of Robert and Dorothy Anderson. When he was nine the family relocated to southwest Kansas, settling in Liberal, Kansas. Bruce graduated from Liberal High School with the Class of 1971. He then attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.

He was married to Regina Lundgrin on August 10, 1984. On that day he became an instant Dad to three children. On August 1, 1985, twin girls were born to Bruce and Regina.

He was employed at Liberal Standard Supply where he learned how to run a successful business from his parents. He eventually became the owner and manager of Liberal and Guymon Standard Supply.

After thirty-six years of living in Hooker, Bruce and Regina moved to Ponca City, Ok. Bruce enjoyed having the opportunity to spend more time with family, fishing and enjoying the beautiful lake he could see from his window.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Krystal Marie in 1985; his parents, Bob and Dorothy Anderson; his in-laws, George and Eva Lundgrin; brothers in law, Carl Anderson, Gerald Trimpe and Donald Bridal.

He is survived by his wife, Regina of the home; Shaun and Lora Noyes of Hooker, Oklahoma, Jeff and Tracy Noyes of Edmond, Oklahoma, Brooke and Ryan Fredricks of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Jennifer and Michael Edwards of Enid, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Marcus and Adriana Romero of Hutchinson, Kansas, Monica and Andrew Ford of Heath, Ohio, Makenzie Noyes and Devan McKee of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, Mollie Noyes, Colter and Zachary Noyes, Aubrie and Shelbie Fredricks, Krystal and Layla Edwards, great grandchildren, Nathan, Baden, Easton, Canyn, and Hardin Ford, Auria and Isabella Romero, and also his favorite companion and friend, his dog, Mr. Bojangles; his sisters, Barbara Anderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sandra and Kent Carmichael of Manhattan, Kansas, sisters in law Anita Trimpe, Camie Bridal, Nancy and Bill Lines all of Hooker, Oklahoma. Many nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, August 28, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guymon, Oklahoma with Rev. Tyler Arends and Rev. Mark Wescoatt officiating. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery, Hooker, Oklahoma directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker.

Family will greet friends on Friday at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Ok.
