Brian Alexander Hahn

Brian Alexander Hahn, 28 of Liberal, Kansas died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born April 29, 1983 in Wamego, Kansas the son of Bernard & Gwen (Lenhart) Hahn.

Brian grew up as a child in Manhattan, Kansas and Garden City, Kansas. He attended St. Mary Catholic School in Garden City. He later moved with his family to Liberal, Kansas where he attended West Middle School and Liberal High School. Brian later graduated with an Associates degree in science and computer technology from Southwest Technical School in Liberal. He worked as manager of Radio Shack in Liberal and he also worked as assistant manager at State Line Bingo In Turpin. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Liberal; a member of the Knights of Columbus, and he was a boy scout. Brian enjoyed working on cars until his health sent him inside to computers. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching movies.

Survivors include his companion Maria Silva of Liberal, Kansas; a son Seth Hahn of Liberal, Kansas; his parents Bernard & Gwen Hahn of Lyndon, Kansas; three sisters Jacqueline & husband Matthew Miller of Lyndon, Kansas, Hilary & husband Jonathan Davis of Sahuarita, Arizona, and Tiffani Hahn of St. Joseph, Missouri; his grandmother Pauline Hahn of Garden City, Kansas; 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents Victor Hahn and Floyd & Anna Bell Lenhart.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday , at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 04, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas with Fr. Matthew Kumi and Fr. Jim Dieker as Celebrants.
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens in Garden City, Kansas.

Vigil service and rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas.

The family request memorials be given to the Brian A. Hahn Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. 7th St., Garden City, Kansas 67846.
