Beverly Anne (Koegeboehn) Campbell

Beverly Anne (Koegeboehn) Campbell, age 86, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 2, 2021 at the Lakewood Assisted Living, Midlothian, Texas.

Beverly was born December 18, 1934 in rural Chase County, Kansas, the daughter of Paul John and Opal Alvina (Holdeman) Koegeboehn. As a young girl she attended school in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, graduating from Cottonwood Falls High School.  She attended Emporia State Teachers College in Emporia.

On June 19, 1956, she married Duane E. Campbell at St. John Lutheran Church, Lincolnville, Kansas.  After their marriage they made their home in White City, Kansas. In 1970, they moved to Cimarron, Kansas living there until 1986, when they moved to Meade.  Beverly was a daycare provider to many children in both Cimarron and Meade.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Meade, LWML and served as Sunday School teacher and Midweek teacher for many years.  She enjoyed baking, reading and caring for children.

She is survived by:
Her son, David Campbell of Dodge City, Kansas; daughters, Linda Campbell of Red Oak, Texas and Lisa Hogan and husband Tom of Cimarron, Kansas
A sister, Clarendene Deatrick of Herrington, Kansas and sister-in-law, Karen Koegeboehn of Orange, California
Granddaughters, Abbygail Brecheisen and husband Logan of Olathe, Kansas and Gretchen Hogan of Denton, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane on June 2, 2010; her parents; and a brother Larry Koegeboehn.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 at 9:30 a.m at St. John Lutheran Church, Meade with Rev. Kent Peck and Rev. Randall Janke presiding. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron, Kansas.  Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to LWML at St. John’s Lutheran Church or Meade City Library.
