Betty Lou Norton, 86, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, Pioneer Manor Nursing Home, Hugoton, Kansas.

The daughter of Willie M. and Ruby (Jennings) Bullard, she was born November 26, 1934, in Tupelo, Oklahoma.

Betty Lou Bullard married the love of her life Omar Levi Norton on May 19, 1950, in Ada, Oklahoma. Omar preceded her in death February 11, 2020.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Moscow. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and gardening. Betty was an active member of her community; she was on the Hospital Board, Fair Board Member, and 4-H leader. She enjoyed helping others and being involved in her community. She will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors include three daughters, Debbie Stoddard and husband Roy, Hugoton, KS., Vonda Gill and Steve, Sylvia, KS., and Jan Morris and husband Tony Knopp, Dighton, KS.; sister, Donita Plowman, Larned, KS.; 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Omar Norton, daughter Melinda Boswell.

A memorial has been established for Moscow United Methodist Church. In care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, 11 AM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, 10:30 AM, Moscow United Methodist Church, Moscow. Burial to follow at Moscow Cemetery.

Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is in charge of arrangements.
