Audrey Long Lambley

Audrey Long Lambley, 87, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away July 3, 2014 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas.

Audrey was born July 26, 1926 in Beaver County, Oklahoma, the daughter of John and Margaret Nettie Corzine Long. She attended rural school at Grennogh and later Liberal High School.

She was married to Delbert K Lambley, March 18, 1943 in Hugoton, KS. They made their home a quarter mile south of Straight, Oklahoma and in 1946 they moved to Hooker, Oklahoma where they live the rest of their lives.

Audrey was the owner of Audrey’s Fashion Shop in Hooker for 30 years and in Liberal, KS for 25 years. She worked as a travel agent for Peoples Travel Agency in Liberal, Kansas.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Hooker, OK and the First Christian Church in Hooker OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, September 10, 1990, her parents, a son, Bill Lambley, June16,1994, a grandson, Kenneth Littell, April 24,1976, a granddaughter, Selena Naasz , February 21,1996, son-in-laws Walter Littell and Charles Collins.

Survivors include her son, Delbert Lambley, Jr and Jeanne of Hooker, Ok, her daughter, Bertha Collins Dunn and Joe of Lakeview, TX; Grandchildren, John Lambley of Hooker, OK, Mike Lambley and Mignon of Hooker, OK, Cherry Rider and Clay of Weatherford, TX, Jennifer Beer and Rodd of Tulsa, OK, Haley Howerton and Justin of Okla City, OK, Matthew Lambley of Guymon, OK, Brittany Hawthrone and Todd of Yukon, OK; Step Grandchildren, Lori Pospisil of Los Angeles, CA, Rob Pospisil and Sandy of Westminster, CO, Paul Dunn of Amarillo, TX, Tammy Trevino of Boys Ranch, TX; Great grandchildren, Charles Naasz and Jessica of Liberal, KS, Sharayah Rider of Hooker, OK, Bradley Rider of Weatherford, TX, Baylee Beer of Tulsa, OK, Braeden Beer of Tulsa, OK, Connor Lambley of Oklahoma City, OK, Emille Hawthrone of Oklahoma City, OK, Griffin Hawthrone of Oklahoma City, OK, Grayson Hawthrone of Oklahoma City, OK, Chloe Howerton of Oklahoma City, OK, Boone Lambley of Hooker, OK, Burke Lambley of Hooker, OK, Vaughn Lambley of Hooker, OK; Step Great Grandchildren, Kalie Pospisi of Westminster, CO, Joelle Pospisil of Westminster, CO, Matthew Morisky of Westminster, CO, Cyrstal Chavez and Matt of Dumas, TX; Great Great Grandchildren, Johnathan Naasz of Liberal, KS, Ryan Naasz of Liberal, KS; Step Great Great Grandchildren, Scarlet Carter of Dumas, TX, Maddix Chavez of Dumas, TX.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Hooker, Oklahoma with Rev. Roy Berkley officiating. Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. in Hooker.
