Antonio Longoria, age 86, died Friday, January 8, 2021, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. He was born April 8, 1934, in Karnes City, Texas, the son of Gilbert Villarreal and Guadalupe Longoria. 

Tony was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He enjoyed visiting with his family and playing Spanish bingo with the grand kids and great grand kids. He always had a joke ready to tell to make people laugh and smile. He worked for many years for Ulysses Irrigation Pipe, Ansel Cab Manufacturing, Grant County Feedlot, and the Parks Department for the City of Ulysses.

Tony is survived by his wife of 65 years, Celia Longoria; son, Israel Longoria and wife Delia Longoria; daughter, Virginia Mendoza and husband Abel Mendoza; son Antonio Longoria Jr.; daughter Anna Garcia and husband Samuel Garcia; 11 grandchildren, Sarah Hall, Sabrina Delfierro, Bobby Mendoza, Raymond Mendoza, Abel Mendoza Jr, Stephanie Mendoza, Samantha Haddox, Michael Longoria, David Longoria, Andrew Garcia, Anthony Garcia; 17 great grandchildren; his siblings Eloisa Perez, Daniel Villarreal, Gilbert Villarreal Jr, and Magdeleno “Mack” Serenil.

Preceded in death by his parents Gilbert Villarreal and Guadalupe Longoria, his siblings; Isabel Villarreal, Eva Curiel, Esperanza Barron, Rosendo Villarreal, Ysidro Serenil, Rudy Serenil, and Aurora Cisneros.

Private Family Vigil Service and Rosary will be Monday, January 11, 2021. Private Family Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 10:00 AM with Reverend Aneesh Parappanattu, MSFS officiating. Services may also be viewed live on Garnand Funeral Home Facebook Page. Interment will follow at Ulysses Cemetery. Public Visitation is Monday, January 11, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. Memorial contributions may be given to Antonio Longoria Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
