Anna Faith Vogt Bachman

Anna Faith Vogt Bachman, age 93, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016, at the Twin Oaks Nursing Home, Lansing, Kansas.
 
She was born May 15, 1923, at Meade, Kansas, the daughter of Fred and Kate (McCampbell) Dahm.  As a young girl she attended the Meade school system, graduating from Meade High School in 1941.  She later attended Kansas State University.  After her schooling, she returned to Meade.  In November, 1943, she married Elmer Vogt.  After their marriage, the couple made their home in Meade.  Elmer later passed away on September 1, 1951.  After his passing, she began her career as a bookkeeper for CMS Electric, retiring after forty years of service to the company.
 
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the ESA, Priscilla Club, Beam Senior Center and sang with the Golden Notes.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
 
On July 30, 1961, she married Leo H. Bachman at Meade.  He precedes her in death on November 3, 2013.

A daughter,                                    Sharilyn Robben of Leawood, Kansas
 
Three grandchildren,                        Lance Robben and wife Kelly, Loral Robben Pepoon and husband Seth,
and Liana Robben
 
Three great-grandchildren,            Grant and Natalie Robben           
                                                Dylan Robben Hodges
 
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Vogt; husband Leo Bachman; and her parents.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m Tuesday. at the First Baptist Church, Meade.  Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until service time at church.  Interment will follow the service in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade.
 
The family would welcome memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
