PLAINS – Andrew W. (Andy) Lundblade age 39, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at rural Stratford, Texas.

He was born December 4, 1983, at Ulysses, Kansas, the son of Robert and Patty (Kuhn) Lundblade. As a young boy he attended school in Kismet, Kansas, graduating from Southwestern Heights High School in 2003. After his graduation he attended C.R. England’s Premier Truck Driving School in 2005 and began his career in over the road truck driver.

He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Pheasants Forever. He enjoyed fishing, country music, particularly Garth Brooks, watching WWE and the Kansas City Chiefs, and spending time with his family, friends, and especially his daughter, Bailey.

He is survived by his daughter, Bailey Lundblade of Garden City, Kansas; his mother, Patty Lundblade of Plains, Kansas; a brother John Lundblade and wife Katie of Kingman, Kansas; a sister Mandy Rogers of El Dorado, Kansas; nieces and nephews, Sienna, Bentlee, Sadie, Rachel, Nevaeh, and Sylvester; several aunts and uncles; and his truck driving family including a special truck driver Shawn Lemaster.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023, at the United Methodist Church, Kismet. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Interment will follow in the Kismet Cemetery, Kismet.
