Alfred Lee “Papa” Warren, 76, of Liberal, passed away after a long
battle with cancer with his family by his side on Tuesday September 21,
2021 at his home in Liberal, KS .
He was born on July 8, 1945 to Alfred and Vada Mae Warren at Enid, OK.
On August 26, 1966 he married Betty Jarrell at Juarez, Mexico.
Alfred was a lifelong Truck Driver hauling loads for 54 years; he
retired from Air Products in 2017 after 29 years. He was a devoted
family man, he loved motorcycles, fishing, OU football, cooking, and
fixing anything that was broken. More than anything though, he loved
taking care of all the babies that came into his life.
Alfred is survived by his Wife, Betty Warren; Son, Alfred “Doobie”
Warren, Jr. and husband Curtis Austin of Tulsa, OK; Daughter, Shelly
Sabata of Tulsa, OK; Grandson, Bryce M. Warren and wife Citlali of
Liberal, KS; Granddaughter, Brijette N Sabata of Tyrone, OK; Five Great
Grandchildren, Elian, Bentlie, Eliseo, Cambree, and Belen; Five Sisters,
Mary Landureth of Amarillo, TX, Aleta Whitfield of Liberal, KS, Ruth Ann
Wallace of Garden City, KS, Patty Warren of Garden City, KS, Alicia
Vanatta of Pratt, KS; Brother, Bill Warren of Grand Island, NE.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Step Father, Thomas Cummings,
Step Mother, Carolyn Warren, Brother, Larry Dean Warren, Brother, Tim
Warren, Sister, Tami-Jo Warren,
There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 9th at the Artesian
Well Pavilion at Meade Lake, KS from 1pm to 3pm
