Georgia Lea McNabb, 91, passed away May 27, 2023, at St. Catherines Hospital, Garden City, Kansas.

She was the daughter of Alfred and Bessie (Kimbrough) Ashlock, she was born on October 29, 1931, in Roston, Oklahoma.

She and Jimmy Edward McNabb were married on April 17, 1950, Arnett, Oklahoma. To this union were two children, Dan and Debra. Jimmy preceded her in death.

Georgia was a member of Sublette United Methodist Church, and Sublette United Methodist Church Women.

Georgia loved her family and enjoyed spoiling the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her hobbies were board games, cards and loved sports. She enjoyed watching KU Basketball, Kansas City Chiefs, and OU Sooners.

Survivors include a son, Dan McNabb, Oberlin, KS.; a daughter, Deb Huber and husband Jim, Garden City, KS.; two brothers, Dennis Ashlock and wife Laverne, Yukon, OK., Dean Ashlock, Hennesey, OK.; a sister, Barbara Young, Tyrone, OK.; three grandchildren, Jay McNabb, John Huber and Amanda McNabb; Seventeen Great Grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Jessica Huber, daughter-in-law, Tania McNabb; brothers, Henry Ashlock, Albert Ashlock and Harley Ashlock; sisters, Elma Choate, Maxine Johnson and Jean Roberts.

A memorial has been established for Sublette United Methodist Church, in care of Robson Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, Kansas 67846.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 3 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. at, Robson Funeral Home, 620 N. Main St., Garden City, KS 67846.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at Sublette United Methodist Church in Sublette, Kansas with Pastor Terry Mayhew. Burial will follow at Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette.

Robson Funeral Home, Garden City is overseeing the arrangements.
