Liberal senior thrower NaZiah Williams is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Williams won the WAC in the discus for a second straight year on Thursday in Dodge City with a throw of 141 feet.  Her best throw was a 143’4″ foot throw at Hugoton.  She has won the discus in all but one of Liberal’s meets this season.  Her best throw in the javelin is 54’10” and her best mark in the shot put is 34’10”.  Williams is also a member of the Black Student Union at LHS.  She has signed to throw in the track program at Dodge City Community College.
