The Lady Apaches traveled across town to Eisenhower Middle School last night. The Lady Apaches would only score one point in the first half courtesy of a free throw made by Karely Peralta. However the score did not reflect the hard work the Lady Apaches put in that first half. “They showed a lot of heart and improvement that first half” the head coach Breanna Kelley said. The score was 26 to 1 in favor of the Eisenhower Lady Warriors at the half. After half the Lady Apaches came out ready to play they would put up two in the third quarter courtesy of a jumper made by Eileen Marta. As well as 4 more in the fourth quarter, Amelia Alarcon and Sherlyn Ontiveros each with two points. Final score would be 42 to 7 in favor of the Eisenhower Lady Warriors.  “There has been a lot of improvement and this season this season I have been extremely proud of them.” Coach Kelley stated. The Lady Apaches will be back in action for the first game of the WAC conference on Thursday. Opponent is to be determined.
