The EMS boys wrestling team traveled to Great Bend to dual the Panthers and
Hays. The Warriors fought tough all day but came away 0-2 after dropping
two incredibly close matches 48-46 to GB and 48-42 to Hays. Ayden Juarez
dazzled with 2 pins under 30 seconds and Alex Schwindt also came away with
2 wins. Franco De La Cruz also got two victories for the Warriors on the
day. Their next meet will be after the break in Dodge!

SRMS Wrestling from Coach Torres –

We traveled to Great Bend to Wrestle Hays and Great Bend. We had 4
wrestlers go undefeated for the weekend: Hudson Rice, Javonte Andrade,
Alexis Galindo, and Irving Cazarez. We had three wrestlers for 1 and 1 for
the weekend: Oscar Pablo, Orlando Munoz, and Jayden Quinonez.
On the JV Side Damian went 2-1, Eli Campfield 1-0, Manuel Lemus 1-0 and
Natividad Ovalle 1-0.

In both duals we battled as a team but having 4 open weights is very hard
to over come. Our wrestlers keep improving week to week, they are doing
what we ask of them.
