Saturday 8th grade Lady Warriors traveled to Dodge City for WAC. The Lady Warriors were 5th seed going in and came out in 3rd place. They defeated Kenneth Henderson and Dodge City Middle in Pool play, but falling to Great Bend in pool play. With a second place finish in pool play the Lady Warriors faced Hays and took them to three matches but falling to them: 14-25 25-21 5-15. For 3rd place, the Lady Warriors faced Horace Good. Earlier in the season, we lost to Horace Good but this time the Lady Warriors were ready for some revenge. They defeated Horace Good in two matches: 25-19 29-27

Saturday the cross country team concluded their season running at Arkalon competing in the MSWAC Meet. All the kids did amazing saving their best for last by running their personal best times of the season. Medalist were Sophia Mercado placed 7th in the mile, and Julianna’s Hernandez placed 5th in the 2 mile. Eric Baeza just missed medaling placing 11th in the mile. 7th girls placed 4th as a team, 8th girls placed 3rd, 7th boys placed 5th, and 8th boys placed 4th as a team. Coach Jordan and Coach Dumler are very proud of the Eisenhower Warrior XC kids. It’s been a great season.
