Liberal sophomore post Maliyah Mullens is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Mullens scored 12 points and pulled down six rebounds in Liberal’s 59-23 win over Wichita North Tuesday night in the Big House.  Mullens averages nine points and five rebounds a game in her sophomore season.  She scored 18 earlier this year against Wichita North and against Pratt.  Mullens is also involved in FFA and track at LHS.  Mullens and the Lady Redskins host Topeka Friday night at 6pm with Redskin Pre-game on 1270 and 92.3 FM.
