Wednesday evening the Seward County Fire District was paged out to at least 8 grass fires throughout the county due to lightning strikes. Due to the amount of fires, units received mutual aid from the surrounding area. Mutual aid has been released. There are no active threats and units will be on scene conducting mop up.
