KSCB News - June 12, 2012 1:24 pm

Liberal’s Adebayo Braimah just keeps getting better. After winning the 5A state championship in the 300 hurdles, the 2012 LHS graduate competed at a regional track and field meet in Albuquerque, New Mexico against some of the best track athletes in this part of the country. Braimah was 2nd in the 300 hurdles in 38.50. He won state in 38.42 at Wichita last month. Braimah joined Moscow’s Osvaldo Granillo and two other Kansas athletes to place 2nd in the 4×400 relay. Braimah is already taking classes at the University of Kansas in Lawrence and will walk on to their track and field program. Braimah was a guest on the Sportsguys Tuesday morning.
