Lady Red delivered a commanding performance against the Great Bend Panthers, clinching a 7-0 WAC victory.
Senior, Hailey Contreras stole the show with six goals breaking the programs single game scoring record (Ashley Carrillo: 5 in 2021)
The scoring started early with Senior Karime Neave assisting Mayra Hernandez 15 minutes in. Liliana Santiago set up Contreras for a goal off a free kick at the 20 minute mark, followed by Contreras scoring again in the 27th assist from Neave. Contreras ended the first half with an unassisted goal in the 39th minute.
In the second half, Contreras continued her dominance with goals at the 70, 71, and 78 marks. Lady Red’s offensive pressure resulted in 18 shots on goal and a defensive shut out by Senior Ashley Acevedo and the defense.
