The doubles team took home 11th place, having to beat out the #2 doubles team of Amy Nguyen & Kellyn Phan who finished 1-3 and got 12th overall. Liberal finished 6th overall as a team with 23 points. Next up liberal will compete at Scott city on September 19th and then McPherson on September 20th.

“Today was a great learning experience day for the whole team. The level of competition that we played, really opened the eyes of our girls and now they’re even more hungry to get out there and try harder. It was great to be able to compete against WAC opponents and now we have an idea of what we really need to work on, along with what style of players we’ll be seeing later on. While we may not be where we want to just yet, we’re on the right path.”
